      • Surprising…I was expecting more players on PC then both Xbox/PS4 combined. Great for console players.

Not that big of a surprise. Running a PC has become more time consuming. You generally don't deal with security patches and cryptoviruses on a console. And even if the console interface is awful you only have to put up with for a couple of minutes till you get to the game. Updates, though some game specific updates are large are usually less likely to fail or brick a console than a PC. And you're talking $350 vs much more for a decent PC, which matters as the price of ordinary necessities has skyrocketed. I prefer the PC but I'm surprised PC gaming is still hanging on.

        • @syousef: I simply cannot appreciate fps on console, controller is so hard for me to master. Ps, many games on pc allows you to put up a mod which are tons of fun, but it is hard to do the same on console.

        • @lklk901:

Apparently pointing out unpopular things deserves a downvote. (I'm aware it wasn't necessarily you who downvoted).

And I agree with you. I was primarily a PC gamer and took great pleasure in installing mods and even dabbling with creating them for Microsoft Flight Simulator back in the 2004 days and likewise for r/c aircraft using Realflight back in the 3/4 days before every r/c aircraft was referred to as a drone. Flight sims on consoles are generally mediocre to dreadful.

But I'm feeling old. I don't have so much time nor patience for these things anymore.

None of that changes the fact that console gaming is just easier and less of a technical challenge.

      • Are these stats real?

    • Nowhere near the mass extinction event that was Battlefront.

Some modes are light in in oz servers lke Frontlines, but if you are a Conquest kinda guy you shouldn't have a problem finding a game at any time of day.

  • Free in the EA vault as well.

  • i just want to play the singleplayer… :) would this work or it is just multiplayer part unlocked?

    • the whole game will be playable. Xbox will lock you out of the game once you the weekend is over.

      • that's not a problem given i only want to play the single player portion
