    Price per roll not useful.
    Need price/100 sheets please;)

    • 21ents/100 sheets

      • how big is each sheet and are they the same size for every brand?

        • +4

          Each sheet is 110 x 100mm. Some brands have different sizes: Sorbent has 100 x 105mm sheets and Kleenex has 100 x 100mm sheets. You can get Quilton King Size which is 121 x 114mm.

          @ksquare:

          You really know your toilet paper.

        • +3

          @ksquare: what's the price per square centimetre?

        • @sween64: LOL

        Anything under 22c/100sheets is a good price. This is 3-ply too, so pretty good deal.

        • A true Ozbargainer will separate the plys so that there's 3 times as much.

  • How does this compare to ALDI's 3-ply toilet tissue?

    • +1

      I tried the Aldi 3-ply once. Much prefer Quilton for softness.

  • When does this one start? Just looked at catalogue and they have Kleenex 30pk for sale in brisbane.

    • +2

      Don't get Kleenex. That stuff breaks apart while you're wiping.

      • Unless you wrap your hand like a mummy.. That is why I was interested in the Quilton. Just about to try the Aldi one as well but this is a good price for Quilton if it is around somewhere. My guess is it starts Wednesday but that catalogue isnt on there.

        • Starts in 2 days 20-26 Sept.

          I don't like the major brands, expensive and often break easily. Quilton Is good at a good price but AlDI is just as good and is cheaper all the time. $8 for 24. And the rolls are not shortened like the majors.

          I just buy AlDI now rather than chase same price specials.

        • @SamR: Funny thing is I had a quick look on the ALDI packaging and didnt see anywhere how long the roles actually are. Will have another look when I get home but happy for someone to enlighten me.

          @SirNed:

          Just had a look now for AlDI , it is on the front of the pack

          $8 for 24 rolls

          3Ply 190 Sheets 11 x 10 cm

        • I must have been blind when I was looking the other day. Thanks for that. Is it quilton that has 210 sheets. Nothing in it but was curious. And SamR have you tried both Quilton and ALDI and the comparison is?

        • +1

          @SirNed:

          From memory I would rate Quilton and Aldi the same. The Aldi is nice and thick and doesn't not break like the Sorbent Cottonelle I used to buy.

          The reason I buy the Aldi over Quiltron is purely price.

          Also the 210 did not seem right, I checked and the Quilton I used to buy at Woolies has 180sheets and is $12 while Aldi is $8. BIG saving.

  • Q: What happens when Dawn breaks?
    A: You get dirty fingers!

    (Sigh. You have to be of a certain age to get the above. I've just shown my vintage!)
