Does anyone have any idea where I can buy fogging oil in Brisbane? We need to protect the machined parts of a V4 engine (of a car restoration project), and also to protect a couple of other spare automotive engines that are going into storage.
P.S. I've found a store in Murrarie called BLA which sells Sierra Fogging Oil in an aerosol can of 340g(12oz) for $15.80, in case anyone else suddenly finds himself/herself in need of fogging oil.

Try any other marine shop then? There must be a few in Brisbane surely.
I looked at websites of BCF and Whitworths but couldn't find fogging oil.
I suppose boat owners in Queensland don't have to worry about winter or the off-season.

You do this to model nitro engines as well but with wd40.
It is used by large industrial firms for long term storage of equipment also. I would try industrial suppliers like Blackwoods and COVS (searachable online catalogues) and also get in touch with the oil majors that have local retail fronts - Castrol, Shell, Caltex?
It's typically used for 2 stroke / marine engines isn't it?
