Apple Watch Price Reduction - Would Series 2 Be Worth Buying?

I am Interested to get peoples thoughts on buying a reduced price Apple Watch series 2 over the series 3.

For the non cellular comparison the only difference is a faster processor. There has to be a price reduction of series 2 Apple watch as the new non cellular series 3 will be launching at a cheaper price, but what price would get you interested in buying a series 2 instead, if at all?

I am considering a S2 42mm …
S2 42mm - Current RRP $579
S3 42mm (non Cellular) - Launch RRP $499

  For a S2, I wouldn't want to pay much more than $399.

    Where is the best place to buy the watches? The phones are typically around the same price.

    Are the watches more varied in price?

  Uh excuse me I think you'll find the Series 3 has a red dot on the side! If that's not a massive innovative upgrade then I don't know what is.

  Series 1 is still $399 so I wouldn't expect you could buy a new series 2 for less than $399
