The regions are different. The one for $27.50 is for the European servers only and the one listed is the US version which covers pretty much the rest of the world. Hope that cleared things up.

      • Oh yeah… didn't read the part which says its locked to the EU.

  • With the current exchange rate, paying for a subscription on the blizzard website might be a better option. Though the one at game-lane is cheaper.

    • Assuming that these guys are charging in AUD, it still won't work out cheaper. The banks all charge for conversions, which means even at a 1:1 exchange rate you'd end up losing.

  • I think this is essentially the the same price as buying direct through Bliz?

  • Hi everyone,

Fetch a Bargain prices are in Australian Dollar as we are an australian owned registered business based in Canberra.

Its good to be reading inputs on our product. Thanks for doing this.

We agree with forum poster "dextar" that the game-lane.com.au World of Warcraft prepaid game card for $27.50 is for the EU (Europe) version, which does not work for Australian game players. They need the US (United States version). However thanks "thefunkygibbon" for informing us.

Also we would like to add to "bargainseek" forum post, our prices are a tad cheaper then actual Blizzard store themselves, however, if the Australian dollar is worth more than US dollar, then buying through blizzard store is cheaper.

  • These guys are 5c cheaper and have always been cheap and reliable, proven on whirlpool: http://gamecard.com.au/my/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=4&cat=W…

    This isn't really a bargain

  • Hi Zomg,
