80

GearBest is currently doing 20% off Amazfit Bip with only 12pcs. USD $59.99 / AUD $74.84 delivered, although adding tracking might be recommended.

Colour E-Ink screen that gets you long battery life. IP68 waterproof, corning gorilla glass screen, built in GPS & heart rate monitor. Connects you Mi Fit on your phone similar to Mi Band 2. It's a cheaper version of Amazfit Pace.

Do note that currently the watch is only available in Chinese language. Lots of reviews on the YouTube claims that the language is not really the issue, however it is possible to flash it with English ROM with GadgetBridge.

  • I don't understand why people call it the best and ugliest smart watch

    • I think I can look past the ugliness since it's like 1/3rd or 1/4th the price of an iWatch

I also wore a Pebble and a Pebble Time Steel, both of which are not the trendiest looking things out there (they have a very geeky look) but this surpasses Pebbles in terms of functionality at a much lower price point (namely the HRM and GPS tracking)

Good for fitness buffs but probably not for those looking for a nice looking SW.

    • Can you export the GPS tracks that are reccorded out as a GPX via the phone app or some other means?

    • It supposedly has a (up to) 45 day battery life.. with bunch of good standard features. So yeah

  • +1

This or Pace? Any opinions? I'm looking for a cheap watch and they both look like they'd do the job though I prefer the circular shape of the Pace.

    • I have a pace, it's fine if you're not a security nerd like I am, as the app phones home a LOT.
      But works well.

      I'd look into Garmin honestly.
Even their 'fitness' range shows whos calling and shows all notifications.

  • I have the Amazfit Pace.
    I wouldn't buy again.

Not because of the watch, but because of the App.
If it got support in any of the 3rd party watch apps, I'd be all over this.

I can't find a way to make the 'app' stay offline!

    • Do you mean the Mi Fit in Apple Store?

      • No, "Amazfit" in Android

    • All the video reviews I saw used it with Mi Fit app (which itself is not great). However it appears that it's possible to sync with Strava.

      • Yeah it's not about the fitness data, I didnt care about that. It was about how often the app phones home, I just wanted it, so I could put 2GB of music on it, and NOT take my phone to the Gym (Works GREAT for this!!!!!) and to tell me notifications.

They REALLY need to let the app switch to offline mode, it "Automatically" updates your fitness data when you open the app.
Dont care, I don't have the spare data for that, and I Don't trust that it wants access to local files (or at least, used to, I haven't checked in a few months).

  • Hi op,just found a code XMSWBB for 58.99USD price,still works for 100 more stock.(* ̄︶ ̄)

  • Is it just me? This looks like a apple watch knockoff…

Not that I am complaining, but it's actually prettt

    • Yes, it's rectangular.

  • Looking forwards to an English version of this.

  • Really want the Pace for dad due to the big display! Common gearbest.
