    • Same as mine pickup is suppose to be at 5 but they haven't even started cooking yet. Probably can only cook 5 pizzas at a time in the oven.

Got mine at 5.15. Cant complain for $15 for 8 pizzas haha

Waiting for half an hour for 3 pizzas due to long queue. NOT OK!

  • Booked for 5 pickup, 5:40 is looking more likely, should have expected them to be packed.

    • Scrap that, perhaps 6:20..

  • Picked up two pizzas from Dominos and a free coffee via Hey You. Rainy evening dinner sorted!

  • +2

Woohoo, got my order in, just picked up.
The lady working there said they're not supposed to honour these but she made mine because she recognised my name lol

    • +2

      hahaha that's awesome

  • Order for 2 pizzas received - the guy was a little surprised at the price but no dramas.

  • +1

Just picked mine up. Owner said awesome deal! He also told me he got an email from head office saying the code was a mistake and it was only supposed to be issued to 20 stores in NSW (I think) and NOT nationwide! haha. Ok so someone loses their job tonight.

Huge props to the Calamvale store in QLD. Store is overflowing with people. Apologised for the delay by handing out cans of drink for everyone waiting. Great store vibe, even though packed.

  • Managed to get 5 pizzas from Langford store in WA. The guy told my wife we were lucky to get 5 pizzas due to some technical glitch.

Do the store owners get reimburse from head office? Why are they so unhappy with these deals

    • +2

Why are they so unhappy with these deals.

They are probably losing money or not making enough on each of these pizza they sold? Also doubt they would have full staff capacity and were likely caught off guard. In addition to people likely complaining that they had to wait too long….going by some of the comments here. Can't blame them for being a tad annoyed.

  • Just picked up three pizzas for $6 at Mt Colah. Sweet. Thanks OP.

  • Just picked mine up from Moorebank, NSW, no questions asked. Got 8 pizzas, 4 premium and 4 traditional, $20 total. Ridiculously good value, cheers. Lucky my wife can't refuse a good bargain either!

  • +1

Ordered 4 pizzas and drove 20 minutes to pick them up, only to be told it will be an hour and a half wait. Ended up just driving home.

  • +1

I saw 5 dudes(friends) who bought 10 pizzas each with additional condiments in syd cbd.. poor staffs having to work their arse off

    • +1

Seriously how much you can eat if you are not taking it home?

I hope it is not going to waste.

      • +1

Probably being frozen for future meals. They freeze pretty well.

  • I had one for a late lunch at about 2.30, there a few people there but queue wasn't too bad.

Decided to get another before heading home. Placed the order at about 4.30. Went to the store at 4:40, plenty of people, saw my name was about 16minutes to go, went for a walk. Came back at 5. Talked to the guy, he had 155 order on the books, and might be a 40 minute wait. Cancelled my order.

A lot of people were walking out with stacks full……

Bought 25 pizzas from Glebe and gave them to the homeless via Will2Live operating at Central Station, thanks guys!

    • What a great idea. Karma back to you :)

    • Yeah, great idea. Hopefully there are more out there around the CBD areas that did the same. Props.

    • +1

Wow. That's what this site should be doing.
When we get an opportunity like this, we should all be making it pay for those who couldn't take advantage

    • I highly doubt they honoured 25 pizzas for $1-$3 each.

      • I got 13 so it's believable

        • I got 15. Ordered hours beforehand.

    • Love this! The deal expired as I posted on a fb group in my hometown that helps those in need.

No drama's on collection and an empty store at Malvern SA - 5 pizza's down the hatch and happy kids at my place !

  • +1

Placed my order at 1:45pm for a 5pm pickup. Had to wait another 50 minutes before it was ready.

  • +7

took it like a man. Missed out and made beans on toast

  • +1

Just picked up my Pizzas with no problems what-so-ever.

Also, this is probably one of the BEST presented looking Pizzas I've ever had from Domino's! It's filled with toppings, and cooked insanely good!

Best $7.00 spent at Domino's, ever.

  • LOL @ Brisbane Albert Street

Sold 1000 pizza's from the deal, they expected to only sell 100.
    Those poor souls..

Head management has already admitted this was a colossal mistake.

Good price but they messed up my order, and the quality was ridiculously bad. I remember dominos being semi-decent a few years ago. Wish I had beans on toast like the other guy.

  • Ordered 15, shared between 8-9 of us and invited others around to share. (so 1 or 2 pizzas each)
Ordered hours beforehand and arrived 10 minutes late to the store for our order to be ready to go. Thanks op!
Shame the deal ended just as I shared to a group in my hometown who helps those in need.

  • Tried it yesterday between those hours and not working for Blacktown and Tongabbie.

Just got email from Dominos of 40% off to be used in the next 48 hours as I didn't finish the checkout.

    Win win I guess.

  • I got greeted from a pretty angry franchisee….

"We're losing money on this you know…."

    • I hope you said "good, suffer you bastards"
      - straya

    • "I know. I probably wouldn't be here if that weren't the case"

I do feel sorry for them but you can't blame the customer for taking them up on a good offer. I imagine Domino's will probably compensate them for their losses.

If you ordered from this deal, check your emails for a potential free 1.25L drink and garlic bread code.

    • Came here to check if anyone else got the email aswell. I am pretty impressed with that to make up for the long wait.
