Pressure, Slow & Multicookers

Is it better to buy a separate pressure cooker and slow cooker? Or multi cooker (pressure & slow cooker in one)?
If you can please tell me good models/brands of the above mentioned cookers (multi, pressure and slow). Thanks!

Pressure cookers can do both slow cooking and pressure cooking, it has entirely replaced my need for a slow cooker.

My Phillips all in one for example has two sets of buttons, one for pressure cook and the other for slow cook. For slow cooking you simply leave the valve open and cooks just like any old regular slow cooker.

Aldi has a Pressure cooker on sale right now for $70 and it has a 3yr warranty. No reviews on it, but the Phillips one is pretty good for me so far and I've used it for 6 months already.

    • We have a similar cooker and use it all the time.
Its really handy and makes great ribs.

  • The are great but invest in a good one, there have more functions and settings.

    Breville

    • Agree. I have a Breville BPR700 and it's my favourite appliance for sure.

  • Awesome guys. Would you recommend the Breville Fast Slow or the Fasy Slow Pro? Whats the difference between them?
