Telstra Data Pack: $15 = 2GB and Unlimited calls, $35 = 5GB

Hi - I was about to post as a deal but wasn't too sure.

Found this on Telstra data packs link.

Unlimited calls and 2 GB for only $15 on Telstra.
Unlimited calls and 5 GB for only $35 on Telstra.
Unlimited calls and 8 GB for only $55 on Telstra.

I think its a pretty good deal unless there is a catch.

If this were the base option it would be a good deal, but it's an add on. You need another postpaid base fee to start.

You can get 7GB for $40 with Optus (prepaid), so this add on is not that helpful considering you'd already have at least a $20 commitment with them.

Those data packs with those included data have been around for a while, I think $15 one had only 1GB about 2 years ago but if you call disconnections department they offed me 10GB for $35 about 2 weeks ago(early September 2017)
