Do insurance companies arrange builders?

Hi,

I'm fairly new to making claims with insurance companies. My family and I currently have landlord insurance for a rental property, which has undergone some damage after the former tenant left. We currently have a property damage claim in progress.

My real estate agent has been very slow in arranging quotes and I'm just wondering if any of you know whether insurers can/will organise builders to fix the damages covered in the property damage claim?

    Yes they do.

      ^ Unless they're paying out as cash because you're under-insured (but this case does not sound like that kind of problem).
