I bought a Nintendo mini classic but my friend wanted one, then spotted this. It's a complete knock off however, has 2 controllers and 500 games. Must be worth a punt.

Here's the list of games
Also it is not possible to save the game progress as per review
Not being able to save and finally finishing a game after a few weeks/months of trying, really gave you a sense of accomplishment. These days continuing from the last save point is so taken for-granted, especially with people that were born after the 16bit era and have been always able to save.
Sorry Guys - I only posted as I thought for C$20 is ok. I didn't really read all the reviews
Can anyone speculate on what type of connector this uses to the TV? Assuming it's not HDMI, is the listed "AV port" just likely to be a RCA video connector? I don't think my TV even has an analogue video input anymore…
It's just a composite input, those good ol' red white and yellow plugs. Will look pretty shit / have input lag on most TVs
If your TV looks like it doesn't have that, some modern TVs have a mode where you can actually plug it into one of the Component sockets instead.
Thanks!
@Avacardooo Rayy Mee: ah cool. So HDMI is digital right? This is converting analogue video to digital? Or does the TV do that conversion?
not sure if it would work, but best doing some googles
I didn't know counterfeits and pirated software were allowed on Ozbargain.
You must have missed all those Office Pro Plus deals.
if you want to blow $20 on crap, the eBay listings are likely better with whatever coupon you can find

at least you get some paypal protection
FYI- there is no way to save the game. must start over every time
31.80 now
As mentioned and worth noting that alot of these systems have clones, hacks or duplicates of other games to boost up the game count. There will be alot that will be the same or be very similar of an existing game so don't expect there to be 500 unique and original games.
MAME
I got one and think the games are probably 20-30 different variations of each other. Assuming it doesn't arrive as an empty box or explodes as soon as you plug it in I thought for less than $25 it was a gamble worth taking I used Paypal and paid a bit extra to get tracking and insurance. You only live once.
I'm guessing they're like action 52 games, and not proper titles..
Expect about 30 versions of pong, Tetris etc.
