  • The other version is here for a bit cheaper https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/328270. Not sure what the difference is, perhaps this one is sturdier?

    • I prefer this one coz the parts where you hold the cable to plug in or take out feel better.

    • I personally prefer the Ampcore Range, as the connectors are more sturdy, and doesn't fray as easily.

  • Best quality cables I've ever owned. I already have a few but I'll get another at this price.

I just wish they'd do a deal on 1.8M Type-C, it's been done in Lightning and MicroUSB but I never seem to catch it in Type-C

    • Have to agree with the quality on the cable. I always end up purchasing more Ampcore Cable every time it pops up on OzBargain.

      • Yeah me too. I don't really need this one but I'll find a use for it. Awesome cables.

    • Agree. I got a 1.8m few months ago from a deal. I'm thinking getting one of these shorter cable for the charging station on my desk.

  • What's the difference between This and the BW-TC6?

    • +1

The BW-TC6 is the same cable, but 6ft/1.8m long.

      • Thanks Richard

  • +1

There's also deal on the BW-TC7, which is 2.5m long for less than 8 bucks. Tempting… Long enough to use in another room.

    • +2

Do you live in a pod?

    • Any experience charging with the BW-TC7 2.5m cable?

It's 21 AWG just like the 1.8M so in theory it'll be the slowest of the cables, where as the 1.8M should be the same as the 1.0M

  • What's the best 30-50cm cable length someone can recommend. Blitzwolf don't seem to make them under 1M? Thinking for portable charging.

    • It very difficult to find short durable cable. All the short ones I've own, only last a few weeks.

I'm currently using a retractable Energizer Micro USB cable I picked up from Woolworths for $5 (Clearance) and it been going steady for months now.

      • Yeah most don't even state the AWG being used so they're probably 26 or 28… 1 bend and snap!

I guess that's why these have the tape strap. Next best solution I suppose.
