Assistance with Beijing Bike Sharing App Download

Hi, so I'm currently in Beijing with 2 of my kids. I have one phone with sim. I have mo-bike and ofo apps installed and they are working perfectly.

But i need a third app installed to hire a third bike. Other bikes I have seen for sharing are bluegogo, u-bicycle, youon and a couple of others.

The problem with the other bike share apps is that I can't find where to find them. I have the China app store on my phone, unfortunately my Chinese is lacking. The bluegogo app on the app store is the american site and doesn't work here.

If any one could provide links for downloading any of the other apps or their names in Chinese (so I can download form CH app store) then that would be awesome.

Thanks

Look on the bike's rear or mudguard. See any logos or links? Sometimes there are QR codes printed on them for smartphone scanning.

you could also search 单车 (bicycle)
on your store and see if you get any search results pertaining to bicycles.

Thanks scrimshaw. Yeah all bikes have qr .

Just found a solution.(am about to try it) — Alipay app.

Can use this instead of signing up with individual bike companies.

Alipay is the finance arm of aliexpress, alibaba etc. And can be used for mobile purchases in stores as well.

      • Wait, just the finance side of things. Still need apps to "log-on"

  • Oh gosh, all the Xiaomi stuff you are able to buy over there!

  • When I was in Shanghai in July, my mates that didnt have OFO app, we just unlocked a bike gave it to them, ended trip, and started another one to get me a bike.

OzB meet up, I'm in Beijing day after tomorrow!
We haven't rented a bike yet, but we're getting sore feet walking a LOT.

PS - thanks OzB for the $282rt tix on Singapore Air.
