sandwiches are my fav lunch.
If I want a sandwich I normally make it myself for much cheaper :)
Got to say though for an egg and mayo, $2 ain't bad.Username checks out.
Got to say though for an egg and mayo
eggs cost about 25cents each.
2 slices of bread about 10cents.
a tablespoon of mayo around 20cents.Yes, but if egg (on sandwich) isn't refrigerated it starts to smell quite quickly… And that requires you buy a dozen eggs :D
or make them yourself for ~50 cents.
I believe you mean for ~55 cents
eggs cost about 25c each
2 slices of bread 10c
a tablespoon of mayo 20cI believe you mean for ~55 cents
that's the egg ones.
The others are cheaper and the average is ~50 cents
Oh lol I didn't even recognise the other ones as options, who would seriously buy them? (Or any for that matter?)
Don't forget to factor in travel cost from VIC for you, JV, for greater savings. ;)
Bought one egg and mayo
You really love living dangerously, a pre-made egg and mayo sandwich probably made by an unhygienic and underpaid slave wages worker sitting in an open and under-chilled fridge.

Hey, I resemble that remark!
Meh, when your number's up it's up.
That is the most sadistic statement I have heard on OzBargain..
Personally I like living.
You won't believe how many things I have living in my fridge. ;)
@greenpossum: Oh god remind me to never accept any food, drinks or otherwise if I ever visit your place :D
@pennypincher98: Reminds me of that old joke: How can you tell it's a bachelor's flat? All the plants are dead and there are things living in the fridge. :D
@greenpossum: Lol I've never heard that joke but that is so true hahaha
Probably made by a machine, actually.
The problem I find with these pre-made sandwiches is that the bread is always awful, as if it's gone stale. And the filling usually can't be described as 'generous'.
Stop! You're making me hungry! ;-)
