Previously I always remote control the Amazon AWS EC2 in SSH and command-line form. Now I have got some needs in GUI form, just like I operate on Ubuntu Desktop on a physical computer. Is that possible?
Thanks.

Yes. You can directly access a AWS EC2 instance desktop from Remote Desktop Connection.
I do it all the time but all my instances are Windows servers.
If it's Windows, you can RDP
If it's Ubuntu, you can use VNC or TeamViewer
