Looking for an all purpose rub to apply on poultry, pork and beef. Does anyone know of a good value and tasty rub?

That is exactly what I use, and it's delish.
I'd probably recommend you avoid buying an all-purpose rub. They're more expensive and you might get a bit bored eating the same spices every time. If you just buy a good mix of herb and spices then you can mix and match to create your own flavours, you really can't go wrong with a basic list of spices like - mixed herbs, paprika, chilli, cumin, garlic powder, lemon pepper, ground coriander, salt and pepper. Add real crushed garlic and olive oil and you can create something pretty great.
Where would be you go to buy these ingredients in bulk?
Supermarkets normally aren't too expensive. You can try asian grocery stores too, they stock a lot of spices at good prices, Aldi have occasional spice collections on sale sometimes as well. You don't need to use a lot of spice on meat so a little can go a long way.
I would recommend the Herbies Cajun Spice mix, it is not the cheapest but it is delicious and you don't need much to make the dish really tasty. I use it with Chicken and marinade it for a couple of hours with a bit of rum and about a teaspoon of the cajun spice mix. You can often get it from Pickadeli at South Melbourne market.
Salt, pepper, brown sugar, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and chilli/cayenne powder (if you want it spicy).
