      I guess this camera is designed to be just a webcam? Doesn't look like it's suitable to use unattended externally with usb powered.

  A friend showed me the following cam with exceptionally good night vision, two way audio, IR and a rotation range etc etc.
  I have to wonder if these Xiaomi are worth the fuss people make over them, or is it just because they are cheap, are bought, but never really used.
  There may be better options out there when a few dollars more may tailor a far better solution - Just putting that thought out there, and open for discussion for anyone that may have had experience with other types of cams.

    and tape them on top of my recently acquired Xiaomi Robot vacuum cleaner, and make it a home rover to patrol my home
    while I am away.

    Might be better just paying $2.21 for priority shipping with gearbest. Total will be AU$19.36 and should only be a week or two for AU$5.62 less.
