I think these are too bulky… its worth spending a little more and get a light weight rechargeable light - like Lezyne, Cygolite, Cateye, Moon, Azure etc…
As a keen road cyclist i totally agree but there are loads of folks out there that wouldn't spring for an exposure etc light. If you are riding a Reid bike you arent going to spring for a $200 light. I had some mid range moon and lezyne etc lights and they were Ok for being noticed by others but useless for lighting the way when riding.
There are some on this forum that think a $5 gearbeast light is the equivalent of a Exposure light. Yes really.
Yeh I agree it's probably on liquidation because most people are going for rechargeable lights. The long term expense of AA disposables or the continued hassle of changing batteries every 2 hours of riding… my 500lm Moon was $90 but it's paid for itself many times over.
