Levis for $25 (Invalid, Checkout Works but Retailer Probably Wont Ship Levis to outside of USA)

140
JCPC20

EDIT* please note comment by Max2010, retailer may not be permitted to send Levis to Australia. This seems to be verified after a google search.

JC Penny has nice pairs of Levis for $30USD, with the 20% off coupon JCPC20 the price comes down to $24USD/pair (less than $25AUD). After 18 October the code will expire, but you can use the code PCHAWNJC for 15% off.

I bought 6 items and my shipping costs came to about $8.50/pair, the shipping will cost more per pair if you buy fewer items. Not bad, last I checked Myer were selling these Jeans for $100.

Be aware that the US sizes are not equivalent to Australian sizes. They tend to be on the larger side.

    • would you go a full size down? e.g. 32 to 30 or just the half size, i.e. 31??
      Thanks for the heads up!

    • so 33" Levi in america isn't the same as 33" Levi in Australia.

I understand sizes stated as 6,8,10 etc may be different but inches is inches isn't it?????

    • I've fallen for that crap before.. you expect that size 34 is the same all around the world :(

  • I know Levis are a bit better made, but I still prefer Lee - they fit me better.

  • I am not so excited just by the Levi's but the fact that JC Penny and Sears now deliver to Australia. Now I can save the airfare to USA and shop on my couch, lol.

    • Sears? wtf bbl!

meh was hoping to get some tools but they have "International Distributors" and that link is nothing but a lawn mowing crowd in QLD….BOO!

  • Mmm… any reason why, my code doesn't seem activated?

    • It doesn't work for me either.

    • +1

The code is actually JCPC20, not JCP20, my mistake.

      • R20PERKS also works

  • ditto!
Real American Levis have always been a fraction of the price of the local made-under-license product.
Doesn't Lee have the Australian franchise? Maybe it changed. Or are they importing from Asia now?

I always stock up on clothes from JC Penny, Sears or some such when visiting the US.
The quality and selection of clothes is so much better there as well as the price. I can actually buy jeans that fit me without taking up the hem.
( OK, "always" means 3 times in umpteen years :-)

Postage is a bit steep, but it always is from the US,

  • thelateshow: if I were you I would send and email or call them to confirm that they are allowed to send Levis outside of the USA.
3-4 years ago I also placed order with them for some Levi's 501s. Check-out was ok but after a week I haven't heard from them so I panic and rang the customer service. I was then told they are not allowed to send Levis outside of the USA.

    • Really? You'd think they would stop you at checkout as it would be easy enough to do. I added a warning in the initial post.

      • Yeah that would make thing simpler for us wouldn't it. They don't specifically mention of Levis but they do state there are some exceptions for International Customers:

  • im pretty sure u cant buy levi's from overseas. Alot of other US online sites disallow it.

Nothing stopping you from sending to a local address and shipping to AU though ( with a forwarder)

  • 'Scuse my ignorance but why can't you buy Levi's from America?

    • +1

same reason you cant buy asics shoes from US and have them shipped here, or stuff from US apple store shipped here - market control and also to avoid breaches of licensing and exclusive distribution agreements.

BUT the way around this of course is to use a USA mail forwarding service, the most popular two of course being http://www.priceusa.com.au and http://www.shipito.com

These services charge a nominal fee to recieve your mail at their designated centres across the US and then forward the mail on to you. Used in conjunction with our near parity dollar means fabulous deals for all.

HTH. Enjoy your US shopping spree folks :)

      • nominal!? They are businesses. The fees are real. An example of a nominal fee is peppercorn rent.

        • shipito.com only charge $8.50 to forward a parcel and also have great shipping rates.

          That's pretty much nominal.

But priceusa.com.au probably works out a fair bit more expensive and wouldn't be described as nominal.

      • I use www.myus.com and they have been pretty good so far. Mail forwarding ftw.

  • Very interesting about not being able to order the levi's, when I went on the Sears website it would not let me order levi's, the page just kept refreshing back to the homepage. Still good to know to option is there for other things, although the shipping was quite expensive.

  • I couldn't even find any in my size for $25. Sucks being tall sometimes.

  • Just go to Levi's Harbour Town in Docklands, Melbourne. They have 50% discount on top of the already cheap price. Skinny jeans are only $25 :)
