I've flown with Tiger a bunch of times. Worst I've ever had is a flight being pushed back an hour.
I think they get way too much of a bad wrap.

I've flown probably half a dozen + times, melb, cairns, gold coast etc. Not experienced anything different to other airlines and i'll happily keep flying with tiger. That said as a rule i always try and avoid flying in the afternoons and mid/late mornings on weekends stuff like that to minimise chance of disruptions. Anything is possible though, on a flight the other weekend we had a delay because of some silly chinese tourists leaving their passports in the terminal and sneaking on the plane as oblivious too or just don't care about 1st world airline policies.

True. How do you normally do price beat? Live chat or on phone? I notice Jetstar travel agents are really slow when coming to price beat. I think it is their trick so they won't have to sell flight tickets for us, once their competitors' deals sold out.
On their online form and they get back to me within 10 mins, sometimes less and they hold it for 1 hour
