Workcover are being incompetent

Anyone here had the displeasure to deal with these [mod: removed foul language] before?

They just emailed my wife this morning to advise that they have closed her claim as of 10 August.

They have not contacted her since she sent an official complaint relating to them not contacting her for over three months. After they received that she got an apology and no contact thereafter!!!???

The best place for you to recover from whatever you have because we don't know is at work. yeah right.

      Reason for closing claim is not at issue. After requesting to be sent to particular type of specialist, WC refused for over 6 months. It was baffling. They tried to close the claim on 5 occasions but we demanded a statement of reasons. Each time she heard back nothing. Eventually she was referred for an IA to the type of specialist she wished to see and his report says it is UNLIKELY to be work related.

      The specialist wrote the report on 10 August. Heard nothing until this morning but the pricks are closing the claim as of 10 August.

        Without any further info, apart from attacking mods and a person well placed to assist you, CASE CLOSED.

  • The independent assessor made a determination. Deal with it, stop the incessant complaining and stop trying to place blame because you didn't get the result you desired.
