It's USB 1.1. This is NOT capable of 480mbit speeds.
sorry i just made a mistake, have changed the URL
no, your list of features is wrong in the doll usb…
•Interface: USB1.1
•Maximum date transmission rate is 480 mbps
1.1 cant go up to 480.
thank you to point this, i have confirmed with our editor, she has corrected the description.
Yeah this is only 12Mbits/s… FALSE ADVERTISING
sorry for the false information, we did not intend to do false advertisement, apologize for our carelessness
That's probably why they are cheap, they're old USB 1.1 stock. Only good for connecting keyboards, mice and other low bandwidth devices.
USB 1.1 Ha Ha Ha….
no comment
USB 1.1 is absolutely awful in this day and age.
would be a great deal..pity it's only 1.1
depends what you want to do with it i guess….and what your devices are, many card readers dont go above 14-16MBs anyway, so not going to make a huge difference, keyboards, mice etc, leaves the USB free on your computer… so still handy.
Wha? 1MB/sec vs 15MB/sec is a pretty big difference
Did you confuse MBps with Mbps?
USB 1.1 = 12Mbps = 1.5MBps
'Most card readers' = 160Mbps = 20MBps
I wish we didn't have two such similar sounding units in computing. Only guys to benefit from the confusion are marketers…
yep, opps sorry.. thanks for the correction…
was thinking 48 vs 12, but its 48 vs 1.2
still stands for mouse kboard, and low speed devices, fair few devices are only 1.1 anyway…
just mean that this still still has a place, specially with its low cost… (personally id get a USB 2 hub)
Didn't realise that USB 1.1 was "High Speed"…
Agreed this is NOT high speed
Maybe suitable as a hookup for:
- keyboard
- mouse
- devices which need USB sockets for charging (I think)
- devices which need USB for a little power (eg USB lights)
yep, just change your title as its not high speed.
Think it grabbed the wrong image, this one is of a web cam?
