Looking for a faster way to screenshot and avoid paste into paint. Any recommendations for auto save to image file?

I know its probably not what you're looking for but wondering if you know about the Snipping tool, it comes with most newer windows OS just incase you're looking for something you can use everywhere.

Try ShareX. It was ported to the windows store recently. For me, the winning feature has been screen video recording. Of course, it captures screenshots too.

It might not be as easy to figure out how to use as greenshot though. But it is packed with features. Have a look a the store description to know its features and if its worth trying out.

  Seconded, ShareX is great. Use the automated upload all the time, and it's screen recorder is great if you want to quickly make a gif/mp4 from a video.

If you have windows 10,
simply press windows key + prtsc
saves a print screen into your pictures folder
