I am interested in Pro Tools, I have a Windows XP machine with a main interest in recording vocal work.
Quick checks reveal Pro Tools Free is available but I have to run Virtual PC + Win 98. It works some of the time, to some extent.
So far there's a place in Queensland, computeralliance.com.au quoting $129 before shipping (around $15) though I'm down in Vic.
Then Harris Technology is talking about $147 for Avid Vocal studio which seems to be a rebrand of the same thing and might be available locally.
eBay might be a few dollars cheaper but only comes from overseas sources.
Does anyone have recommendations of good places / products to get Pro Tools?
