  NB: mini-DVI is only on ancient Macs.
  It is found on the 12-inch PowerBook G4 (except the original 12-inch 867 MHz PowerBook G4, it used Mini-VGA), Intel-based iMac, the old MacBook Intel-based laptop (not the new USB-C ones), the Intel-based Xserve, the 2009 Mac mini, and some late model eMacs."

  The iPad Camera Connection Kit is similarly only for 30 pin devices.

  MIcro-DVI was only ever on ONE Mac model - the very first Gen MacBook Air, which shipped with these adapters - and no other computer ever since. This is the MacBook Air with only a flip door to the right when looking at the screen, and had only one USB port.
