Camera store and Ausluck (probably more) have " reduced" by 10% their prices (prices are back to normal) one day after 20% ended and a few hours after the 10% ended.
Coincidence? I don't think so
Do retailers know before a 10% side eBay discount?

At the EOFY, there was a lot of 10% v 15% off in quick succession. I purchased a rangehood using 10% off, and when i went to collect it, there was a 15% off coupon. The store didn't even know that such an offer was available. Luckily, they were good enough to cancel the transaction and I repurchased using the new code
Many have noticed this too. Rarely is the ebay promo discount real. Deceitful business practice?
I thought ebay wore the discount with these promotions so why would the sellers be increasing their price?
It is the usual situation, just research prices before buying.
Ever notice how supermarkets slowly jack up the price of an item then have a 50% off special on it? Usually ends up back at the real price after discount :-(
