Bluetooth Earphones for Sony Bravia TV

Hi all :)

I have a Sony Bravia tv W80C model. I have tried to pair my beats 2 wireless headphones but just can't get them to connect :(

Does anyone know a specific type/brand that works with this tv?

None - While that TV has BT in it, it is only a BT receiver for remotes, keyboards etc. The only way to do it would be plugging in a BT transmitter and connecting the headphones to that. The drawback is is that most BT transmitters will cause an audio lag due to signal processing. The transmitter processes the signal, the headphones process the signal and that can delay the audio which is often fine for listening to music, but if I'm watching a movie it's not great. A few of the newer Samsungs and LG TVs (not sure of other brands) have BT output, but I still haven't seen one that works seamlessly (they mostly work if you BT to the same branded soundbar under the TV, use other brands and it's not great)

    i got a Sony Soundbar which allowed me to connect BT headphones :)

      Yep, Sony soundbars have NFC, which allow 1-touch connectivity with any NFC compatible headphones (pretty much all Sony headphones are NFC compatible).
