So here's a pretty cool deal I found last night, Tomtop currently have a promotion on the Xiaomi YeeLight Smart LED Bulb and it's cheaper than yesterday's deal which didn't last very long. TomTop had a few issues with the Power Bank deal when dealing with customs but they sent my Wifi Extender in quick time so I can vouch for their legitimacy. Shipping time is 10-20 days and is free shipping.

In order to get it for $11.71 USD follow these steps:

  1. Signup to TomTop with a new email and signup to the newsletter in the process, this will give you 200 points.
  2. Add a profile picture to your account which will you give 20 points.
  3. Add the YeeLight to the cart and enter the coupon code XYLLEDXY.
  4. Add another item to the cart such as these headphones and then apply the points as well as the coupon and you can get it for $11.71USD delivered.

Here is a list of items sorted from low to high in the clearance section, I believe the threshold you need to get over is $13.50USD to use the points so try your best to get it for the cheapest price you can :)

Bit of work to get this price but definitely worth it if you're in the market for one of these.

Enjoy :)

  • How is Tom Top for delivery usually? I have only ever ordered one thing from them and they cancelled the order. Is that a standard thing for them?

    • The item I ordered was a pleasant experience as explained in the post, other people also received their items if their powerbank got through customs.

    • Still waiting for refund for power bank posted about 40 days ago. Tracking number seems fake. Not working at all. Zero response from customer service.

      I have bought from them before with no issues on ebay. In the past.

  • Anybody has any reviews of this site? Never heard of it…

    Followed the steps above. Got US$12.51 not $11.71

    • You're redeeming them the wrong way or you have missed something, works perfectly for me.

        Maybe you have more points from your previous purchase? Only 240 points received from following the above

        • I only made this account last night to test out how the points work, did you sign up to the newsletter and update your profile picture?

        • I got $11.71 too
          worked perfectly

        • @doweyy: yep. 200 points for signing up, 20 for profile pic and 20 for completing profile. Not sure where the other 100 comes from but I didn't get it.

        • @revart:

          You get an extra 100 points for signing up to the newsletter, that's probably where you missed out.

        • @doweyy: Ok. I see what happened. I didn't get the newsletter points when I signed up to the account even though the newsletter option was ticked. Was able to sign up for the newsletter on the bottom of the webpage again using the same email and that has added the 100 points needed.

        • mine came out to $11.51 USD for some reason so even cheaper

  • few hurdles, but good deal :)

  • thanks.all the steps worked as described.Hope it doesnt take too long to deliver.

  • I got it for US$11.51 from redeeming 340 points. Not sure what I did extra to get the additional points.

  • i got it for USD $11.90 instead for some reason, but still bought it anyway…(I know I should surrender my OZB badge…)

  • edit:

    Me 14:01:26: Hi, In my profile > my points it shows 240 points. At the checkout it says "Available points: 0". Any hints?

    Online Support 14:05:30: the points will to you in tomorrow,could you pls wait for that

    This.

    • 240 points is not enough to get the price in the title anyway

      • Oh yeah, I missed the newsletter thing as well.

        No option to sign up for a newsletter after you registered, too bad, too strange.

        Seems I've just saved Australian AU$14.80AUD dollars : )

          There is a box at the bottom of the site that you can enter your email into to subscribe to the email. I just entered the same one that I used for my account and it added 100 points automatically. This will get you up to the promised 340.

          @SilentShakka: confirmed this works

        • […]
          * so I eventually got 340 pts,
          * still couldn't use them,
          * another chat person told me I can't use them for that item if it says 0 pts available
          * so I changed the extra product (from one $1 go pro mount to another) and it worked,
          * only to get 'This item can't be shipped to Australia' after I logged in with paypal,
          * so I can't finish an order that's halfway through
          * and ate my points

          Fcuk it, tomtom. Whatever.

        • @pizzaguy: I got the same through full site. Used mobile page and could use points

  • Couldn't get the extra 100 pts for the second email subscription, so I only have 240 points…

  • Good deal everything worked as instructed, been wanting to get one of these for awhile now. Thanks.

  • What's the advantage of Yeelight? Is it just the 'smartness' or is it more value for money due to energy efficiency compared to other LED bulbs?

    • LED (over non-LEDs) + colours (over the usual) + smart (over dumb) + price. (I guess)

      • Thanks dude. I need to brush up on my LED game.

    Works. I got it for 11.20 with this fuse puller https://www.tomtop.com/p-k1832.html instead of the headphones

  • Arrived completely (profanity). Contacted Tomtop support.
