Does anyone know if it's possible to privately buy a device similar to Spider Wrap or Spider Web to secure a tablet to my desk without the need for a semi-permanent attachment (like a Kensington lock)? I think they are reluctant to sell to members of the public because the unlockers can be used in stores to pinch stuff.

All those need either a Kensington slot or an adhesive type attachment or only work on specific tablets (like iPad).
This one looks good but is a bit pricey: https://www.ilocks.com.au/collections/featured-products/prod…
searched on Aliexpress? You could probably find a OEM chinese supplier selling for much cheaper.
try keywords 'tablet security', 'anti theft tablet' or 'tablet security dock' or something similar.
I've got spider wraps I dont need if you want them
Yes please - if you've got the keys for them! Message me
Try Kensington?

Staples also has a section for physical IT security but unfortunately, nothing specific for tablets. Mostly for laptops.
What i see in some shopping centres that they use some kind of dock to hold the tablet, but these options are permanent. See also
This is a $105 dollar option
