TM
LOL
Isn't this a good thing?
its a fantastic thing to happen. No more people accidentally subscribing to crappy ringtones for $15 month.
Think it won't affect prepaid?
No it won't impact Prepaid
Hope so🙏
@tomkun01: not sure why you were negged. Prepaid customers accrue credit they need to burn, and can burn through Google Play. Disabling that would lose the benefit of this free money.

You actually like these third party services?!?
I got signed up to one of them a decade ago by accident and no matter how many times I followed the instructions to stop them they kept coming through at $5 per message every 2nd day. It took a complaint to the TIO to get them to stop.
i guess ill be moving to optus now.
my sms, mms and ring tones need to change every week with the current music chart hits
From reports, it doesn't seem to be about Postpaid vs Prepaid. For the purposes of Google Play credit, at least, it seems to be about whether it's a subscription or once-off.
we will continue to support one-off payments like charity donations and voting for TV gameshows.

Unsure how that applies to subscriptions via Google Play…
Apart from that it's the network that works in more places than others?
