Having Problems with My Oppo R9 Phone

Hey guys, I have an Oppo R9 with a Vodafone sim and an Amaysim sim in it. I'm got a unlimited 1.5gb plan with Amaysim and 10gb data to use for 6 months with Vodafone. I originally had set the Amaysim sim to calls only and the Vodaphone sim set to internet but now whenever I set the Vodaphone sim to internet, it disables the phone completely apart from giving me internet access, I still have the Amaysim sim set to calls but I can't make/receive calls or send sms. I have to set the amaysim sim to both the 'calls' and 'internet' options to have the phone work normally, anyone know what I can do about this?

  • Get rid of it. Oppo phones are trash. They look beautiful and are well made, but the firmware side of things is atrocious. Worst experience I ever had. Spent hours on the phone trying to get a solution to my three Oppo phones, R9, R9s and an A57, all of them had exactly the same firmware issues. Had the two R9 series phones (3 weeks old each) replaced and was back two days later for exactly the same issues. Got another brand new one in store and it failed out of the box. Got a refund on all 3 phones that were all less than a month old and I think ColorOS is totally to blame, that and the fact that there is very little in the way of f@#ks given when it comes to bug fixes. On the Oppo forums, there were issues I was complaining about that went back over 2 years and still didn't have a fix for them. They don't even care about their forums, because it's over run with spam bots.

    Do yourself a favour and just get rid of it. I know it's nice and well built and looks like an iPhone… but it isn't.
