Notification Offers Not Being Honoured [Vaniday]

Hi guys!

I keep getting notifications from Vaniday about discount codes, today and yesterday both $30 off however both don't work and they've said they're only for new customers, but can't they target this?

My questions are in relation to push notifications, in this case for Vaniday but in general I'd like to know;
- Does this happen with other brands?
- Can they target their offers via the app push notifications?
- What should I do if I wanted them to honour it? Or should I just give up?

    You've tried resolving it with the business. Next phone the Fair Trading body in your state or the ACCC to lodge a complaint. They are best to advise you on your unique circumstances.

    Who know's maybe with enough people getting duped by this mobile app fad it could die like the Group Buy website fad.

    • Yeah, I'll try once more with the business and follow up with the above if I get some free time in the future, honestly it's not worth the hassle but I'm sure I'm not the only one!
