Wall Oven - Budget $2000

Looking at replacing a builtin Walloven (built-in to cupboard).
This time I think I will go for an electric one as I have had a lot of trouble with 2 previous gas ones not working.
It need to one that the vents point onward toward the kitchen as my previous one went up and has badly stained the ceiling above it.

Any thoughts on any thing under $2,000?

Also what is the most inexpensive way of handling installation?

I just bought this for under $1200, expected delivery mid September. It's the 2015 model, and VERY similar to the 2017 model, which is $1800. Missing a couple of programs that I'd never use, and a wire rack, basically.

    • If the model is two years old why do you have to wait til September for delivery?

      • Because it's on back order. They keep making them after the initial announcement.

What size is your wall oven?

  • This would fit and look ok

Will need to have a range hood installed too.

Will the installer also do this?

    • Why do you need a range hood?
You wont find much that goes above a wall oven - they are normally designed to go above cooktops.
You could put a vent in the roof.
Have you tried some degreaser and paint?

      • Trie degreaser for several hours no luck.
Had to paint it, which is almost impossible to do as the built in wall oven has a cupboard above it leaving about a 45 cm gap at the top.
cooktop is separate and next to it.

fed up of seeing all the 'grease/grim/s%&t above the oven.
a vent in the roof is a good idea, now just need to know a suitable type and a suitable handyman to do it….:)

        Thanks

  • I have an earlier model of this Samsung oven:

Dual zone and self (pyro) cleaning. I will never have another oven without pyrolytic cleaning.

    • Love the idea of a self cleaning oven.
It is really a trial every time I have to clean it.

  • A true ozbargainer would buy a $50 Blanco stainless steel front, fan forced oven from ebay. 10 years later still going strong!
