Wharfedale Diamond 220 Bookshelf Speakers at JB HI-FI for $329.40 in-Store OR from $350 Delivered + Other Discounted Audio

140

These are great budget hi-fi speakers and probably don't need any introduction if you've been looking for speakers. Highly recommended at their normal street price of 460 dollars but 329 dollars brand new is a steal. Pair that with one of their amps they have on sale or perhaps a cheap chi-fi amplifier and you're winning.

Bunch of OTHER AUDIO on sale! Including a ROTEL A10 for 450, some AV Receivers and other stuff like headphones.

    I get no in-store options…

  • A pair or just one?

    • Im actually trying to figure that out myself haha. most other websites advertise as pair.

You also need a good amp to run these :/ i don't have that so this would be pricey for me

    • "Ideal for stereo music"

If they give you only one speaker, complain.

    • Some of the following on comments in the thread also show that he may be a bit biased.

As always, best to go and hear yourself before buying

      • Whathifi gave it five stars with no negative which I also don't trust.

  • The AT range are worthy of consideration with the current 40% off.
Have a pair of AT-500 as rears and am very happy.
Reckon the AT-400 would be a good stereo starter pair.Switch as rears further down the track.$420.
Been some Yamaha RX-V383 AVRs going for under $300 recently.

  • for that price i would recommend getting the yamaha ns333 which are on sale for 349$

    • Would you recommend them as part of a 2.1 home theatre set up?

      • i have them setup paired up with a yamaha rx 2400 and a Yamaha-YST-SW515-Powered-Subwoofer, mostly purchased used from gumtree and ebay. I also have a pair of bw 610 which i find the yamaha speaker slightly brighter in sound compared to the BW speakers but it depends where/what your source is from. it really depends what your listen to.

  • The RA-10 for $450 is a great buy if you just want a pure music amplifier. I've got one in the study for my turntable and Sonos, and I love it.

That said, if you want something with an integrated DAC, streaming stuff like Spotify Connect/Airplay or even a remote… it's not what you want. The Yamaha 301 is a much better bet if that's what you need.

  • anyone know how these are vs audioengine a5?
