Guys, if you do not stick to a certain brand there are some deals much cheaper at some UK shops (will not advertise anything here)… $179 for running shoes is way too much. You can get adidas ultra boost for that price, or some great classic Mizunos way cheaper.
Prices for running shoes are crazy in AU.I guess, the reason I stick with Gel Kayano is they are bloody comfortable, the known devil and all, I'm a big dude so need that comfortability
Kayano 24s are not that great ….
https://www.solereview.com/asics-gel-kayano-24-review/Good brand name though hence they are always popular regardless of the actual design/quality.
I stick with ASICS as I need a 4E fitting. Correct me if i'm wrong but Mizuno, Brooks, Adidas and most brands don't make 4E widths (I would love to be wrong).
Coupon code not working for me.
Edit: runblog10 worked for 10% off.
I use to be a Asics Kayano wearer but over time they got worse and I moved to Mizuno which I was quite happy with. I am now wearing Brooks and they are easily better than the Asics or Mizuno I wore in the past.
I have always been someone who chose performance over looks. The brooks do look quite bland compared to Asics and Mizuno but perform better.
good info man. my Kayano 19s have almost hit 500kms which are starting to fall apart. which Brooks model did you go with and what $$$?
I just started training for a triathlon but I need better shoes as my knees starting to hurt after running. Will look into these. I need a women's shoe
$200? bargain? wew lad
Most runners are well over $200, not that it isnt a ridiculous price but it is the reality of it.
Brooks, asics and mizuno runners are around 240-260 for their popular ones.
Looks like only avaliable in D, no 2E or 4E. =[
my last four pairs have been Kayanos. However, it might be time to move on. There are just so many alternatives out there. The 2017 runner's world shoe reviews (North American spring/summer) don't even feature the Kayano. Any recommendations from owners of the highly rated Altra Alcantara?
