Help with Dealing with GearBest

i recently ordered an android box from gearbest
after them stuffing me around saying that i didnt give a accurate home address (had to tell them it multiple times in support ticket) they finally shipped
i waited and it passed the max time of the postage i selected (max 11 days)
i messaged again and they told me it was the non tracking non faster post they used
when i questioned why they said that i asked for it in live chat (why would i ask for a worse posting when i paid for the better option)
then when i asked for proof they ignored me giving me a answer about the shitty posting they used instead and havent replied back

aside paypal claim and escalating it is there any other option ?
does gearbest have a rep on on here ?

heard some good things about them and quite dissapointed

also still havent recieved my Original Xiaomi Piston In Ear Earphones from the deal earlier this month but it does have till next month as it was the cheap shipping

    Proceed with the PayPal dispute. I was in the same boat as you. My Mibox never arrived and I only got weasel responses from GearBest. Ultimately I got my money back from PayPal a few weeks after escalating from dispute to claim. Maybe 4 month's after purchase.

      Same with me. I never purchased anything again from Gearbest. Banggood is much better.

  • I have found Gearbest are way better than DWI, which have a huge fan base on Ozbargain. GB would get 3/5 on my trust-o-meter, DWI a 0.5 I suppose it's all based on personal experiences and luck of the draw.
    …. Also stuff can be delayed, it usually turns up in 4-6weeks. If you can't live with that buy from an Australia source…

    • if you pay for a faster shipping then no i shouldnt wait 4-6 weeks. the issue is they changed it then lied about it please read the OP 11 day max doesnt turn into 6 weeks magically

  • ..Generally speaking in my experience it's 4-6 weeks from China regardless of what service you think you are buying . Good luck if it's different for you.

    Seems like you should evaluate your expectations when buying from China, you might get more out of the transaction.

    • when you pay express and they label it as 7-11 days for express then no i shouldnt be expecting 4-6 weeks. you were proberly using the standard posting which is that long

      • If you are unhappy raise a paypal dispute, be careful not to close the dispute until you have got what you want from the transaction. The last issue I had with GB I raised a paypal complaint early on.
        They offered a number Solutions…

        I ended up keeping the original Mee Light they sent me and also received a replacement.

  • 2 years ago I got gearbest banned cause they didn't deliver on a bargain. i had to reply to.pist everyday, had over 1k posts but they hadn't delivered our products for 4 months.

    don't think it's that bad here but use this topic and message the rep

    just got a reply earlier they admitted they lied and that they (profanity) up the shipping still going for my money back they want me to close the case and trust them ……………….

    • Lol looks like my topic helped again, they got a bad rep from it, and got banned, we at ozbargain don't settle for anything but 100 percent good customer service

    ROFL they just deleted my ticket as i wouldnt take a 5 dollar refund for a 30+ item . who do i contact about getting their ban back in ? this isnt what the ozbargain community should support

    honestly how are they in business acting like this , i wouldve been fine waiting if they didnt lie and call me a lier. then be stupid enough to admit they lied
