I need to do a one off drilling into steel
I need a 57mm holesaw and a drill press
Are there any places where you can visit to use them?
Obviously not worth it for me as a once off
I'm in the sunny coast

Sorry, I was meaning in a more general sense such as bunnings etc

Get a job at a steel joint, use theirs, then tell them the job is not for you.

Look in the yellow pages for a local welding & engineering firm. Take it to them an tell them what you need. They will do it for you and likely charge $20 or $30.
Ask your friends if they know of anyone who works in an engineering shop who is willing to do the job.

Would I a student at the TAFE to help or like go in their workshop on my own?
You'd have to talk to them and arrange something. To do it on your own you'd need to be a student (probably not worth signing up for a night class just for this). Maybe they'd do the job for a donation of some kind.
Another option is a local mens shed. They generally have some sort of workshop.
See if there is a "men's shed" operating in your area, they may have a press you could use.
A metal fabricators or a metal shop will often cut to size for cash.
Poke your head in the roller door and say, mate I wonder if you could help me with a small cashy?
