How Do I Use Android Pay ?

I keep trying to use Android Pay at the self checkouts at the supermarket and everytime I put my phone to the scanner it says "Contactless unavailable". It may be that my bankwest credit card does not have android pay facility but thats all I can think of. I tried it at two different supermarkets, same problem. Thanks for your help

    Me too.. tried it few times at woolies on my G4 and it doesn't read/connect..

    I hv bankwest n mine works on a Android phone. Did u download and sign up with the Android pay app, also make sure your NFC Near field communication is turned on, on the phone.

      Yes, im using a 6 edge and the NFC is on

      I'm using a huawei mate 9, I did also get an email off bankwest saying it was available a couple weeks ago

    You don't place your phone on the "scanner" where you scan your grocery items. You place your phone on the card pad thingy like you would your credit/debit card.

    I had samsung pay as my default payment method. I might have solved this issue will report back to thy faithful
