How do you download the photos?

    • They are old school film so would need to get it processed. Big w does that but takes couple weeks as they are done offisite. However we are typically significantly cheaper than competitors.

so would need to get it processed.

I have an intel i5 processor. Is that good enough?

        They are old school film

        Display pic checks out.

    • Hahahahah! I bet kids these days would think like that!
      Carrying on with the joke….

Although I heard you can download the photos from the disposable camera by opening the case so you can get the film, you need to also make sure to expose it to a lot of light so that the film will be able to develop really well!

  • Cool does big w still process film at the lab they use?

    • +2

Hi, yes we do however there may be a 3-4week wait as they are all done offsite. Typically $12.92 for 24-27exp for 1 set of prints + a CD, or $9.84 for just CD.

      • Wow, that's super cheap ty.

  • Disposable cameras are fun, although it does seem wasteful and you don't ever get to see your pictures. If it's an important event, that you want to remember, I recommend using a real camera.

      So this one is virtual?

      Erin is pretty cute.

Is there a sd card slot? What do you mean by disposable? The internal memory can't be overwritten? Or is the battery non rechargeable????

    So many questions!

    • Its those vintage old school cameras with actual film. It isnt a digital camera.

      • +3

Um, I hope you know these people are joking. They aren't that stupid!

  • What's the megapixel??

    • It's film, there is no MP count.

      • not entirely true. search it up

    • +2

I don't think pixels where invented yet when this was made. Although maybe open the camera casing and count the squares yourself in the film. Make sure to do it in a well lit area, like outside when the sun is shining.

    Hmm EMP project anyone?

  • If not sure difference between film vs a digital camera. Suggested read this: https://petapixel.com/2015/05/26/film-vs-digital-a-compariso…

If not sure the difference between sincerity and sarcasm. Suggested read this: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarcasm

      • It's still difficult to tell when sarcasm is being delivered in text-only, with the absence of other indicators such as body language, tone, familiarity with the other party etc.

        • +2

Not sure if you're being sarcastic with this comment or not…..

  • I'll just my lomography camera instead.

I might pick 1-2 of these up, going to a cherry blossom festival tomorrow with the missus always nice to change it up with the style of photos.

Great camera with sophisticated Fuji colour science for shooting weddings and sports. This camera will blow the Nikon D5, Canon 1DX MKii and Sony A9 out of the water!!!

    From a Professional

    • Something is definitely being blown…

  • +1

Here's an idea - Give me $5 and I'll dispose of it for you…

  • Can you use instagram filters on this?

  • Possible to buy this just for the film and remove it for use in a normal film camera? My nikon FM2 needs a work out =)
    Wondering if the film expired?

    • Don't think there a film cassette in it, the whole camera is the container.

      • Stomp on it and see

    • You sure can do this. All you need to do is wind the film back in to the canister. Simple enough. Just cover the lens and snap the 27 exposures. This won't expose the film but will wind it back inside the can. Once done crack the camera open and load it into your Nikon happy days!

      • Ah, film goes back into the canister so that it can go into standard processing machines, how clever. Oh well, all history now.

AYY I also have a question what kind of digital camera is this? Am I right guys? Guys? It's funny because it's an analog camera and I'm pretending it's digital! Guys?

    • Get back to pushing shopping trolleys at Big W

    • -1

Analog isn't quite the correct term. Consider that for for many years camcorders were analogue but still competely electronic. Cameras went straight from film to digital, there was not really anything analogue.

      • +1

Film cameras are analogue. The amount of chemical change in the film emulsion is proportional to the amount of light falling on the emulsion whilst the shutter is open.
Early camcorders were also analogue because the frequency of the signal recorded on the tape was proportional to the amount of light falling on a particular segment of the image sensor.

      • The hallmark of a digital (sub-)system is that data is quantised to discrete levels. Otherwise it's analog. A system could have a mix of analog and digital sub-systems.

Youch tough crowd. Note to self, don't make meta jokes about the jokes
