    I thought the same when I signed up yesterday and tried to apply the code.

    It gave me free shipping, but the code didn't apply to any items in my cart.

    I then noticed under the Style Status section of my account, where it has Style Society Number, it had "To be generated", whereas today it now has a number, and the discount code worked.
