WTF?
I just received this phone from the lightinthebox deal (took 15 days btw) and the instruction manual is all in Chinese, how am i meant to open the phone? I looked up a YouTube vid and the guy was using a stanley knife. Is it really so difficult i need tools to open the phone? How am i meant to put the SIM card in? WTF?
so you can never change the battery?
edit: also ,my phone doesnt look like that, the 4X i bought has a different slot and im struggling to find a way to fit it in
Yeah, a lot of the phones these days do not have removable backs or batteries.
Also, Australia is not a region covered in the phone? Antigua & Barbuda is, but apparently Australia is too exotic? What TF is this?
Xiaomi haven't officially launched their phones in Australia, so it isn't offered as a region on the MIUI software. Just set it to Hong Kong.
so.. too late, i set to US, so .. my time is buggered.. also is there no way to remove security? I dont want to have to enter a pin every time i use my phone, i hate doing that, im the only one who will ever use it
MIUI is a custom android skin, so the settings might be differently arranged but for most android phones the menu is something like settings > lock screen & security > screen lock / PIN
Just go and buy an iPhone already.

Sim drawer, Set the locale to Vietnam, use the finger print scanner for security, no need to enter a PIN.
