[PC] Steam key - F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin - $1US (~$1.34 AUD) - Bundlestars

130

Can you survive the wrath of Alma Wade?

This is a pretty great price for the game. If you have not played any F.E.A.R. games this is a good opportunity to try it to see if you like it. If you do you can get all three games plus DLC for F.E.A.R. 2 for $4.99US (see below).
F.E.A.R. is considered one of the, if not the scariest, PC games (depending on the ranking, so of course this is subjective and varies).
At this price definitely worth a try out.

F.E.A.R. Bundle (F.E.A.R. 1/2+DLC/3):$4.99US (~$6.60AUD): https://www.bundlestars.com/en/bundle/fear-bundle

Enjoy.

Absolutely awful game. Mechanics are terrible for the year it was released and it's nothing like the original F.E.A.R.

      • The second was OK but the third - what a stinker.

        • Is this from the team who made Shadow of Mordor?

        • @lostn: Yep. And NOLF and Blood.

    • I didn't play this and was wondering how good it was myself. I did play FEAR. Its engine did not age well, and this game used the same engine but slightly modified and I remember it looking very outdated when it released.

FEAR looked great at the time, but it was released in the Pentium 4 era. When I finally got around to playing it on my c2d around 08 I couldn't believe how last gen an engine could get. The same was true of Far Cry 1, another engine that looked great but aged poorly. Meanwhile HL2 still looked better than them both despite being older.

FEAR was an easy game btw. The bullet time mechanic was OP. You could store 10 healthkits on you that you can use any time you needed them. You never ran out.

  • Was about to buy because why not?

Luckily I checked my steam library first. Already had it and FEAR3 lol. Must have been from some humble bundle. There are way too many games in my library I don't even realize I own.

  • I had a ball playing this on the PS3 when it released, will buy for PC run. F.E.A.R 1 had a nice FPS/Horror blend, and this is much truer to the original than F3AR.
