  • Meagre 10% discount does not even pay for shipment cost unless you spend over $200.
10% + free shipping would make this a good deal.

  • +1

This is not a genuine discount.I compared a few of the outdoor lights at OzLighting with this other lighting store Buyster Lighting

For the same light, prices at Ozlighting is about 10% higher than Buyster before the 10% discount code is applied. So essentially, you're just getting the free shipping - only if you spend more than $200.

Here are 2 examples (note how ozlighting show them as 'discounted' despite being more expensive than the other store):
    ie http://www.ozlighting.com.au/Havit-HL1401-Single-Adjustable-… vs http://www.buysterlighting.com.au/Havit-Lighting-HV1401-HAV1…

    http://www.ozlighting.com.au/Havit-HV1441-Single-Adjustable-… vs http://www.buysterlighting.com.au/Havit-Lighting-HV1441-HAV1…

    • Thanks for that. I didn't know about buysterlighting, do you know what they are like for customer service, shipping, etc?

For the fans I want to buy it still works out $80 cheaper at ozlighting so I guess if you are buying $300 ceiling fans like me you can save a bit.

      • Jaxx, i would think that you'd be better off buying at your local lighting store - they usually drop the price by 20% just by asking "can u do better?". Also you get to see what the fan really is like before you buy it.

I've never bought from buyster so I cant comment- just got the link doing the price search - I have however bought designer lights from Europe that couldn't be found in Aus from http://www.nostraforma.com/ and they were great. Shipping was quite reasonble for the size of those lights I bought altho tax was a bummer.
