Aunt Betty's "No Credit Card Fees" Look Like Credit Card Fees To Me!

"No sneaky fees" says Aunt Betty.

So why would it be that when I booked flights via Aunt Betty that the price for the airfare went up when I chose to pay by Credit Card?
The price was $985. If I paid via Mastercard Debit the price was $988.94. The price by Mastercard Credit was $992.88. The price by Amex was even more again. I also booked about a $2800 flight and the credit card prices were even higher again.

Sorry Aunt Betty, you're cheap but you're not very truthful, and you are sneaky.

    • Well actually Aunt Betty is a profit making abstract entity. it exists to transfer money from your pocket to it's own.

      Profit making entities in Australia routinely flout the law with untrue claims in advertising, amongst other things.

    We have investigated this case and found out that the promise about NO booking fees and NO credit card fees was applied last year however we have long since updated our website and it no longer applies on our current policy. We have found the page that we believe you read that promise when we looked for it via google but when searched for it on our website, that page no longer exists. We believe that it was a page from our previous website before we had it updated.
