32" TV for The Bedroom

I'm looking to buy a 32" tv for the bedroom, mainly to use for ps4, netflix & watching the odd premier league & champions league game.

I plan to spend around 250-300, although i don't mind spending a bit extra on a better brand/model if it would be worth it in the long run.

So i was just wondering if anyone had anyone recommendations? Whats brands to look for & which ones to avoid.

Also should i be worrying about FHD at 32"? Or would the extra price not be worth it?

Cheers!

  • Bedroom is for sex and sleeping not tv

    • What if you live alone… oh oh oooohhh..

  • +2

In the same boat. Cant seem to find a cheaper tv to do the same stuff as you want. I know the lower end brands such as Hisense, TCL and Soniq do them but they arent easy to find.

  • For 32" TVs the FHD models are usually woefully bad with ghosting (motion blur).

I've got 2 x JVC HD TVs, one is our bedroom TV and the other is for my PS4 and PC. They're awesome for the price and great picture quality (usually about 250 at big w).

    • Do these have any smart features? Don't want to add any devices to tv.

  • If you guys know anyone who has a concession card, pensioner card, health care card, low income health card or veteran's affairs gold card, should definitely look into this deal: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/262038

32" Hisense Tv only $127, 32" TCL Tv only $158.50 and 40" TCL Tv only $212.50

    +delivery fee i think

    • Only in NSW and only if you have an old CRT or plasma to swap.

  • Nice deal but wrong state for me..

  • Plenty of 32" TVs on Gumtree.
