Ultra-responsive boost™ absorbs the force from your footstrike to release it at push-off

By "footstrike" they mean heel strike.

The human forefoot and calf muscles naturally perform this function without shoes.

Slim pickings for the good colours.

  • Pretty much no sizes for the colours which most people would actually want.

    • Thank god ive already bought 2 pairs of shoes this week :(

  • What colours are the good ones? The ones available look okay to me but still pricy :(

Edit: it seems like after my post either a lot of colours have sold out or the link look different.
Edi2: seems like I was able to see the sold out sizes before.

  • I think I need somebody to explain these shoes to me… I bought into the hype and bought a pair a few weeks ago. The first thing you notice when trying them on is going comfortable the base is when standing and I was immediately sold. I tried on several pairs, got recommendations on sizes from several stores, then bought them.

3 weeks on - Unless I'm walking on flat ground, my ankles hurt. I'm getting pain in the arch of my foot. The shoes are becoming slippery on vinyl when dust sticks to the rubber, to the point where I actually slipped - I had to go to some carpet and wipe dust off to fix the grip. I've been getting chafing or soreness or something in-between my toes from how snug it is in the shoe - I would have assumed that the sock-like upper would breath better but it seems that moisture is building up.

Every 6-12 months I've had a new pair of runners for at least the last 10 years. The last few have all been cheap options from DFO, including Adidas. I also wear converse, vans, other skate shoes, dress shoes, you name it. Never had ANY of those problems except for one completely enclosed vinyl pair of skate shoes also got sweaty as they couldn't breathe.

I'm sure that these are comfortable for some people, but I'm personally a little disappointed after having spent ~$190 on them. Any suggestions/thoughts?

    • Too snug means you need to go up a half size, that happened to me.
Also, these don't stop your foot rolling in, so that may be the ancle pain you have.

  • It's not that good a price either. Wiggle regularly have these on sale and other adiboost varieties with a bigger discount. I've had 2 pairs from them now for around $110-120.

    • Where did you get Ultra Boosts for that price? Enquiring minds would like to know :)

    • They sell the other ub model at that price… not this model. This is the popular model… which hardly ever goes on sale.

    • they'd be the ultra boost ST models… different shoe

  • I got one, very nice shoes.Get more half size than normal NIKE shoes you wear.Cheers.

  • theres this super hngggggggggggggggg model out there - its a cross between NMD Xr1 and UB 3.0 CNY - wish i could afford it

  • Anyone done a legit check on these?

  • is it UK or US size by default?
