The same with me. I think their website is error

    • All I can say is it was definitely working and have been working for the previous couple of days all I can think is that down for maintenance over the weekend OR this is how they going to put a stop to people redeeming the deal.

And two they can figure out how to remove the promotional code, as other people have already mentioned in the comments, it is true that quite incompetent.

Please don't, under any circumstances, use this Company.

    They are heroically incompetent.

Even if they offered to pay you to use them, don't.

I agree worked for part of this company, upper management have no clue and are just plain ass hats

I definitely want to get it on the record that yes this company is incompetent, you just need to read Whirlpool to find out more about that. However if you know what you're doing for a dollar it's a pretty good deal and just transfer an out after 60 days.

That was back in 2014 and in my experience it did not make them any better

        • That's my point, haha. It only made them worse.

  • I'm sticking with Zuver, they are very professional.

Please, before you sign up with NetRegistry take some time to read the various threads at Whirlpool about this company, and I speak from bitter experience.

And the second (compulsory) year costs….?
And they charge you for privacy, meaning unless you pay them, they publish your details for everyone to see.

Other registrars (e.g. Gandi) provide protection for free.

    • doesn't seem to need 2 year registration, you can get all the way to the payment page for 1 year for $1

      • Not sure about this exact promo but .com minimum is 1 year and .com.au is 2 years which is what I think they meant.

    • +1

      Minimum 2 year registration

when you select 2 years teh price is magically 16 bucks.

.coms are 99 cents from godaddy, 1and1 and namecheap all the time anyway plus godaddy 99 cent domain theres another coupon for 1 dollar privacy whois, 1and1 its just free and included

I said this 2 days ago, and I'll keep saying it:

"Please don't, under any circumstances, use this Company.

      They are heroically incompetent.

Even if they offered to pay you to use them, don't."

      They are that bad.

      • you want heroically incompetent… have a look at GoDaddy and MelbourneIT!
MelbourneIT specifically are probably the worst company I've ever had the misfortune to deal with.

        ETA
I now see MelbIT & netreg are kin, so explains a lot!
