Hey OzBargain peeps. Just wanted to share something I found for those who may feel bad about their coffee pod waste.
Terracycle offer programs to receive used pods through free post and recycle these for other pods/products. I really enjoy the Aldi coffee, so this makes me feel less bad about the waste that is incurred because of it.

Yes this man right! He say right thing safety planet. Buy steel reuse ones in eBay and put coffee into hole
I'm confused by this comment - can you elaborate on "pointlessly recycling"? If someone will take the waste and actually recycle it, what's the issue you have with it?
And yes I'm aware that not buying them at all would be far better, but pod/machine deals are quite popular on here so I assume it's not going that way.
Yeah, have to agree with Diji1. When I found out each pod takes around 300 years to break down, I stopped using my Nespresso. Not good for coffee addiction but good for planet.
So instead of pointlessly recycling it in your council bin you ship your waste somewhere else to be recycled. Makes so much sense for environment!
Not to mention the completely dubious nature off the product to start with. You know, the part where they package each cup of coffee in seperate packaging. Clearly this is the earth lovers choice!
