The black crew socks from target are very thin, and have a tendency to get holes at the toes.
I just buy the Kmart socks - 3 pairs for $2. They've lasted surprisingly long for the price (probably going on ~8months now). And they're cheap enough that if they do fall apart, you can just replace them with new ones. :D
