sew good?
eye sea watt ewe did their
Sew, I found this thread and decided I'd cotton on to it.
At first I thought pff but then I realised it was a Pfaff.
BTW, your posts left me in stitches.
Does anyone own such machine? How useful it is?
I know nothing about sewing machine, but I want to buy one that can help me to repair pocket in trousers (often cut through by keys) and repair the loose end of the trousers II don't know the proper name of that structure"
Or any other recommendation?
Many thanks.
Found some reviews on Amazon, sounds like a good, capable machine
Do you think this should be able to sew with materials such as Neoprene?
I am a bloke and bought an entry level brother computerised, yes for fixing pockets…. You tube how to use and its fairly easy. The computerised ones do more stitches but also tension adjustment ….mechanical a bit more fidley but fine for fixing things……you won't look back at the savings and convenience …….
I'm also thinking of getting one, sick of paying $15-20 for each pair of pants to get them hemmed or fixing clothes with a needle and thread.
Thx Op, got one!
I bought a similar moderl - pink 160S a year ago @ ~$150. Have been doing my own pants & skirt alterations, built a few ties, etc. Has been great for a beginner like me. You can do a google search on 160s vs 140s. I have been pretty rough with the needle and unit but it still works.
Linked to gf and she picked one up.. thanks - she's been on the lookout for a while
